The African Students Organization (ASO) at Michigan Technological University was founded in 2001 to promote the African culture and diversity in the University and the world by organizing events that showcase the African community and lifestyle. The organization accepts and brings together African and non-African members of the University community.
We are good ambassadors of the continent of Africa. Our doors are open to receive you irrespective of your race, sex, gender, color, disability, etc.
Our vision is to organize events that act as platforms for demonstrating the values of the African people and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the African continent.
